Market Economy

Many people discuss the importance of a free market economy and site numerous examples of how economies work best when they have less regulation. This is all well and good but one has to ask; Is There Such Thing as a Free Market Economy? That is to say does such a free-market economy actually exist and if so where or where could she be?

To answer the question; No, there is no such thing as a Free Market Economy, Adam Smith was right, the critique of Karl Marx is note worthy but too extreme. Ayn Rand makes a good point for it and so does Allen Greenspan, Thomas Volker and did Milton Friedman himself.

We cannot study Free Markets in reality, only in theory. Even micro-economies and closed systems, such as an Island Tribe, will have good ole' boy networks, it is the nature of human behavior, chimpanzees and the social tendencies of upright walking primate Carbon Based Bipeds.

Indeed, I realize that any true studier of economics who asks this question; Is There Such Thing as a Free Market Economy? Or does a Free-Market Economy exist anywhere? Or Give me an example of a Free-Market Economy; is merely asking such a question in a rhetorical way of course, just having fun here.
